Thodin: Level 70 Warrior (Dinged 70 at 8:00 PM (EST) on April 5, 2007)

Thodin was my first real character in WoW (I played in the beta as a Tauren warrior named Torr, he was pretty badass). I started playing WoW when it was first released that fateful November of 2004 (that seems like so long ago). I got my three college roommates into it, and we pretty much became consumed. I took a break from the game for a while, because hardcore raiding didn’t have much appeal to me (and there wasn’t much else to do).

Thodin is my only 60+ (now 70) character, because I’m very bad at leveling alts. As you can tell from his Armory profile, I’m not much for professions either. Right now Thodin is Arms specced which makes leveling from 60-70 so much easier.

I’m not one of those warriors who says “hay look at my uber 2h axe/mace/sword i pwn all u nubs wat is a shield?!” I love to tank. When I hit 70 I’ll most likely spec back to protection, although it feels really good to get 2000+ damage crits and kill things in seconds. Whoo baby does it feel good. (As of 4/5/2007 Thodin is now level 70, and has yet to spec back to protection.)

I’m not a big fan of PvP, although now that I’m 70 I might end up trying to PvP more because I don’t have time to raid all the time. Who knows, I might end up loving PvP.

Right now Thodin is part of the guild, The Ninth Wave, which is a great group of people. Like I said, I don’t have the time to be in a hardcore raiding guild, so the casual atmosphere I’ve found in this guild is a great fit for me.
